Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2009 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Neuere Deutsche Literatur, Note: 1,7, Universität Erfurt, Veranstaltung: Fiktion der Fiktion, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Meine selbstständige Hausarbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Vergleich der Filme "13th Floor" und "Welt am Draht". Beide Filme sind Adaptionen des Romans "Simulacron-3". Meine Fragestellungen, unter denen ich diese Arbeit betrachte, sind: „Sind beide Filme miteinander vergleichbar?“ und „Kann 13th Floor als Remake von Welt am Draht gesehen werden?“. Da sie auf der gleichen Grundlage beruhen, haben sie zweifelsohne Gemeinsamkeiten, aber das Interessante wird sein, die Unterschiede in den Gemeinsamkeiten zu finden
Meine Ziel ist es, die Filme auf ihre Breite zu untersuchen und zu vergleichen. Mein erstes Untersuchungskriterium ist das Funktionieren der Filmwelten und deren Teilbereiche. In diesem Punkt sind vor allem die äußerlichen Merkmale, wie Zeit, farbliche Umsetzung, Orte, Grenzen, Anzahl der Welten und Personen wichtig. Als nächstes möchte ich auf die Schlüsselhandlungen (Bewusstseinstransfer, Kontaktaufnahme und Aufstieg in die nächst höhere Welt) eingehen.
Weiterführend beschäftige ich mich mit dem Leitthema der Filme und wie sie dieses umsetzen. Dabei spielt das Zitat von Descartes „Ich denke, also bin ich“ eine große Rolle. In diesem Zusammenhang möchte ich zudem klären, inwieweit die einzelnen Welten und die dazugehörigen Bewohner existieren und ab welchen Zeitpunkt elektronische Impulse als Leben angesehen werden.
Der letzte Abschnitt meines empirischen Teils konzentriert sich auf den Verwendungszweck der Welten, da diese aus einem bestimmten Grund erschaffen wurden und diesen mit der Zeit verlieren und ein neuer hinzu kommt.
Im Fazit werde ich meine gewonnen Ergebnisse zusammenfassen und eine Antwort auf meine zu Anfangs gestellten Fragen finden.
