Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2009 im Fachbereich Romanistik - Französisch - Literatur, Note: 3,0, Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen (Institut für Romanistik), Veranstaltung: Le capitalisme au théâtre – Zu zeitgenössischen französischen Dramen, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Das Französische Drama „Par-dessus bord“ (entstanden zwischen 1967 und 1969) von Michel Vinaver erforscht vorwiegend das kapitalistische Alltagsleben in der zweiten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts. Dem Gebiet des Marketing wird innerhalb des Stückes eine besondere Rolle zugeschrieben. Das Auftreten eines amerikanischen Konkurrenzunternehmens, der „United Paper Company“, auf dem französischen Markt, welches durch seine neuen und ausgereiften Marketingmethoden das Unternehmen „Ravoire et Dehaze“ zunehmend in Bedrängnis bringt, zwingt den französischen Toilettenpapierfabrikant zunehmend zur Nutzung der neuen „amerikanischen“ Marketinginstrumente, welche sich in Form des Marketing-Mix wiederspiegeln, um weiter am Markt bestehen zu können.
In der vorliegenden Arbeit soll untersucht werden wie und in welcher Weise der Marketing-Mix bei dem französischen Unternehmen „Ravoire et Dehaze“ eingesetzt bzw. umgesetzt wird und woran der Toilettenpapierhersteller letztendlich scheitert und vom amerikanischen Konkurrenzunternehmen „United Paper Company“ übernommen wird. Zu Anfang soll auf die reale Wirtschaftssituation und die neuen Marketingformen der 60er Jahre und deren Umsetzung in „Par-dessus bord“ eingegangen werden. Um das Hauptthema der Arbeit besser zu verstehen erfolgt anschließend eine allgemeine Definition des Marketing-Mix. Den Hauptteil dieser wissenschaftlichen Arbeit soll sich auf die konkrete Umsetzung der verschiedenen Gebiete des Marketing-Mix also der Kontrahierungs-, Produkt-, Distributions- und Kommunikationspolitik beziehen, ohne eine kritische Bewertung der Vorgehensweise von „Ravoire et Dehaze“ vorzunehmen. Zum Schluss soll sich kritisch mit dem Thema Marketing und besonders der Umsetzung des Marketing-Mix in „Par-dessus bord“ auseinander gesetzt und ein Fazit formuliert werden. Ziel soll es sein die unterschiedliche Umsetzung der Instrumente des Marketing-Mix in „par-dessus bord“ zu analysieren und auf ihre Korrektheit hin zu überprüfen. Dabei sollen die Intentionen und Absichten Michel Vinavers erläutert und mit in die Analyse einbezogen werden.
