Ich habe dieses Thema gewählt, da ich es sehr interessant finde, denn meines Erachtens ist Motivation ein wichtiger Teil beim Fremdsprachenlernen. Auch die Möglichkeit, einige Sprachlernmotivationsbiographien meiner Kommilitonen einbeziehen zu können, fand ich sehr gut.
Wir haben am Ende des Seminars versucht herauszufinden, wie wichtig Motivation wirklich ist um eine Sprache zu lernen, und es wurde deutlich, daß der Begriff Motivation gar nicht so leicht zu fassen ist. Antrieb kann aus vielen verschieden Quellen herrühren, bzw. es gibt viele verschiedene Motive, eine Sprache zu lernen.
Um das Thema „Motivation“ besser zu verstehen, habe ich mir für den Aufbau meiner Hausarbeit verschieden Fragen gestellt: Was ist eigentlich Motivation? Welche Arten von Motivation gibt es? Wodurch wird Motivation beeinflußt? Warum lernen Menschen Fremdsprachen? Und schließlich, wie wichtig ist Motivation wirklich, um eine Sprache zu lernen?
Diese Fragen möchte ich nun im Folgenden versuchen zu beantworten.
Ferner möchte ich anhand einer Auswahl an Sprachlernbiographien, die in dem Seminar geschrieben wurden, die verschiedenen Beweggründe aufzuzeigen, die meine Kommilitonen/innen veranlaßt haben, DaF zu studieren.
