In meiner Hausarbeit möchte ich mich mit der sozialen Theorie von Karl Marx auseinandersetzen. Dabei werde ich mich in erster Linie auf Texte von Karl Marx berufen, nicht auf die von Friedrich Engels, obwohl die Theorien von beiden entwickelt wurden. Ich werde auch nicht im Einzelnen auf die historischen Ereignisse eingehen, weil diese nur hintergründig für meine Arbeit von Nutzen sind.
Vorrangig versuche ich mich auf die Darstellung von sozialen Gruppen und nicht auf die von Individuen zu beschränken, um damit Marx′ soziale Theorien rekonstruieren zu können. Ich werde im Folgenden so vorgehen, daß ich durch das Heranziehen diverser Autoren das Denken Marx′ beschreibe und auch die Kritik dieser Autoren äußere. Die dann formulierte Theorie von Marx wende ich in Bezug auf zwei seiner Werke - das Kommunistische Manifest und den Achtzehnten Brumaire- an und bringe auch hier wieder die Meinungen anderer Autoren zum Ausdruck. Dabei möchte ich mich mit der Frage befassen, warum und inwiefern Marx seine Theorie ändert. Zum Abschluß dieser Arbeit nehme ich selbst Stellung zur sozialen Theorie von Karl Marx. Zum Ziel habe ich es mir gemacht, in einer übersichtlichen Darstellung die soziale Theorie von Karl Marx zu rekonstruieren, ohne dabei zu ausschweifend zu werden. Ich versuche, kurz und prägnant verschiedene Aspekte der Klassentheorie zusammenzutragen und diese dann zu bewerten.
