Zwischenprüfungsarbeit aus dem Jahr 2007 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Berufserziehung, Berufsbildung, Weiterbildung, Note: 1,3, Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg (Institut für Berufs- und Betriebspädagogik), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Von der Annahme ausgehend, dass das Innehaben von Kompetenzen Mittel und Zweck darstellt, um auf dem Arbeitsmarkt konkurrenzfähig zu bleiben und um sich in der Gesellschaft zurechtzufinden, lautet die Folgerung, dass Training und Förderung von Kompetenzen unabdingbar sind. Diese Annahme ist für die vorliegende Forschungsarbeit der grundlegende Ausgangspunkt.
Aber wie werden Kompetenzen entwickelt? Welche Mittel und Wege führen zu dem gewünschten Ergebnis? Eine Möglichkeit ist das Outdoor-Training, welches in diesem Zusammenhang oft diskutiert wird.
Diese Forschungsarbeit versucht die Frage zu beantworten, ob das Outdoor-Training eine geeignete Methode darstellt, um Kompetenzen, besonders sozial-kommunikative Kompetenzen, entwickeln zu können. Grundlage für diese Einteilung von Kompetenzen bildet ein theoretisch begründbares und empirisch erprobtes Raster von 64 wichtigen Teilkompetenzen. Unter sozial-kommunikativen Kompetenzen ist eine der vier Basiskompetenzen zu verstehen, welche Kommunikationsfähigkeit, Kooperationsfähigkeit, Beziehungsmanagement und Anpassungsfähigkeit in sich vereint (vgl. Heyse/Erpenbeck 2004).
Durch den gewählten Focus auf die Entwicklung der sozial-kommunikativen Kompetenzen wird versucht, mithilfe einer Modifikation des Kasseler-Kompetenz-Rasters, wie auch durch eine Modifikation des Kompetenzrades, diese für die Auswertung fassbar zu machen.
