Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2006 im Fachbereich Filmwissenschaft, Note: 2,3, Philipps-Universität Marburg, 13 Quellen im Literaturverzeichnis, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In dieser Hausarbeit möchte ich mich mit der Adaption von Fernsehästhetiken in François Ozons „Sitcom“ befassen. Ausgangspunkt der Überlegungen soll dabei eine Analyse des Films darstellen, die sich vornehmlich mit der Aneignung und Fortentwicklung fernsehästhetischer Prinzipien auseinandersetzen wird. Dem soll eine allgemeine Überlegung zur medialen Transformation von Fernsehbildern in Kinobilder, vor dem Intergrund intermedialer und intertextueller Diskurse am Beispiel des Films „Sitcom“ folgen. Abgeschlossen wird diese Arbeit durch eine Reflexion der Fernsehbeurteilung im öffentlichen Diskurs, wobei die Schriften von John Fiske und Pierre Bourdieu als zentrale Anhaltspunkte eines diskursiven Feldes der Medienbeurteilung im Spannungsfeld zwischen Fernsehverachtung und Fernsehen als Projektionsfläche öffentlicher Diskurse zu untersuchen seien werden.

Dem sei - an dieser Stelle - eine kurze Einführung in das Filmwerk und die Person François Ozons vorangestellt: François Ozon wurde am 15. November 1967 in Paris geboren und drehte seinen ersten Film - „Photo de famille“ 2 - bereits 1988, dessen zentrales Schlussmotiv (siehe Fußnote) in „Sitcom“ wieder aufgegriffen wird. Bereits in seinen frühen Amateurfilmen zeigt Ozon einen Zweifel an der Stabilität bürgerlicher Lebensformen. Der scheinbaren bürgerlichen Idylle werden, im Verlauf seiner Geschichten, Bilder gegenübergestellt, die die Porosität und Konstruiertheit der bürgerlichen Existenz verdeutlichen. Ein weiteres zentrales Motiv Ozons ist, in diesem Zusammenhang, die fluide Form der Sexualität, die auch in Bezug auf „Sitcom“ sowie in dem Seriengenre der Daily Soap eine Rolle spielt.

Abschließend sei in dieser Einleitung noch erwähnt, dass „Sitcom“ Ozons erster

Langfilm war. Dieser Produktion waren Kurzfilme wie „Regarde la mer“ 3 vorausgegangen. Ozon zeigt als Filmautor des Jeune Cinéma eine beeindruckende Virtuosität in der Narration. Seine Geschichten überraschen stets mit an Subversion heranreichenden Wendepunkten ohne, dass das Werk seine Leichtigkeit verliert. Ozon ist - im besten Sinne - ein Zeichner der Oberfläche.
